Single video links

YouTube Video Downloader for Videos You Own or Have Permission to Use

Paste a single YouTube video URL, check the link, and choose from available MP4 resolutions when the video can be processed lawfully.

This tool is intended for lawful use only. You should only use it for videos you own, videos you have permission to download, or content you are legally entitled to save.

What the tool does

The tool checks a YouTube URL, detects whether it is a single video or playlist, and shows available actions for supported links.

Lawful use cases

  • Downloading a video you created yourself.
  • Saving a video where the rights holder has granted permission.
  • Archiving content you are legally entitled to keep.

How to paste a single video URL

Copy a normal YouTube watch, short, embedded, or youtu.be link and paste it into the main YouTube video playlist link tool. Choose Check link before starting any permitted download.

Supported URL formats

  • youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID
  • youtu.be/VIDEO_ID
  • youtube.com/shorts/VIDEO_ID
  • youtube.com/embed/VIDEO_ID

Video vs playlist detection

If the URL contains playlist information, the tool identifies it as a playlist and switches to the playlist flow instead of treating it as one video.

Limitations

Private, unavailable, restricted, unsupported, or incorrectly formatted links may fail. The service does not grant copyright permission or access rights.
