This page explains how submitted YouTube URLs and temporary downloads are processed.
What URL data is processed
When you submit a YouTube URL, the server processes the URL to detect whether it points to a single video or playlist and to fetch available video or playlist information.
Whether URLs are stored
Submitted URLs may appear in temporary job data and operational logs needed to run and debug the service. The app does not provide permanent public result pages for submitted URLs.
Whether downloads are temporary
Completed downloads are stored temporarily and removed after the configured expiry period. In this project, the default expiry is one hour.
Analytics and tracking
No analytics provider is currently configured in the visible project files. A no-op event hook exists so analytics can be wired later if the project owner chooses. The advertising module can emit non-personal diagnostic events such as ad script loading and ad slot initialisation.
Cookies
The current app does not set application cookies in the downloader flow in the visible project files. Advertising, hosting providers, a certified consent platform, or future analytics tools may have separate cookie behaviour. See the Cookie Policy.
Advertising
Google AdSense configuration is prepared with placeholder publisher and slot IDs. Personalised ads for EEA, UK, or Swiss traffic should not be enabled until the site owner integrates a Google-certified consent management platform.
