Link detection

How the YouTube Link Tool Works

The tool validates YouTube URLs, detects whether a link is for a single video or playlist, and shows supported actions for lawful use only.

Paste a YouTube URL

Enter a supported YouTube URL in the main input and select Check link.

Detect single video vs playlist

The parser checks for video IDs, playlist IDs, and show URLs. Playlist links are handled through the playlist flow.

Validate supported link formats

Only YouTube hosts are accepted. Unsupported, malformed, private, restricted, or unavailable links return a plain-language error.

Show available lawful actions

When a supported link is detected, the interface shows available resolutions or playlist selections, with reminders to continue only for permitted content.

Handle unsupported, private, or unavailable links

The tool explains that the link may be private, unavailable, unsupported, or incorrectly formatted instead of creating thin result pages.

Privacy and temporary processing

Submitted URLs are processed to check video or playlist information. Completed downloads are temporary and are removed after the configured expiry period.
